Why Use Gtechniq EXOv5?

Gtechniq EXOv5 is a high-performance Last Surface Protection (LSP) coating designed to deliver long-lasting gloss, water and dirt repellency, and swirl resistance. Using composite siloxane technology, EXOv5 makes water spots and road grime easier to remove, resists all wash chemicals, and helps prevent micro-marring. Application Instructions – Best Results

1. EXOv5 can be applied as a standalone coating or as a top layer over Gtechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer or Crystal Serum Light (CSL)

   • If applying over C1, wait 4–12 hours after C1 application

   • If applying over CSL, wait 1 hour after CSL application

2. Ensure the vehicle is out of direct sunlight, warmer than 10°C, completely dry, and will stay dry for at least 12 hours

3. Wipe down surfaces with Gtechniq Panel Wipe and a MF1 ZeroR Microfibre Buff Cloth (skip if applying over newly applied C1 or CSL)

4. Shake the bottle well and wear protective gloves

5. Prime the AP2 Ultra Soft Foam Applicator with a sufficient amount of product so the pad is damp

6. Apply in overlapping strokes to a small panel or half a large panel

7. Wait 1–2 minutes after application, then buff with an MF1 cloth, followed by a second MF1 to remove any smearing

8. Only one layer is required

9. Allow coating to cure for at least 12 hours before exposure to water

10. Avoid washing the car for at least one week after application

11. Store in a cool, dry place

12. Use within 3 months of opening

13. Do not apply directly to plastic trims, rubber, or hard plastics such as headlights and taillights
