Gtechniq G5 is a high-performance water-repellent coating designed for glass and Perspex surfaces, delivering exceptional hydrophobic behaviour. Once applied, G5 causes water to bead and disperse rapidly even at low driving speeds, improving visibility, increasing safety, and reducing reliance on windscreen wipers.

Treated surfaces stay cleaner for longer, with contaminants such as bugs, bird droppings, road grime, and icebecoming much easier to remove. While G5 offers maximum water repellency, it is designed as a short-term solution and is less durable than Gtechniq G1 ClearVision Smart Glass.

Application Instructions – Best Results

1. Wear protective gloves and work in a well-ventilated area

2. Clean glass using G6 Perfect Glass

3. Polish the surface with G4 Nanotech Glass Polish

4. Perform a final clean with G6 Perfect Glass

5. Do not apply in direct sunlight

6. Apply a small amount of G5 to an AP1 Applicator Pad or microfibre buff cloth

7. Work in a circular motion, covering the entire surface evenly

8. Allow the coating to cure for 10–15 minutes at room temperature

9. Remove residue using a clean glass cloth

10. Avoid water contact for at least 2 hours after application

Storage & Use:

• Store in a cool, dry place

• Use within 12 months of opening
